Have you ever been walking somewhere, then noticed and felt drawn to pick up a stone? Did you wonder whether that stone might be talking to you? Have a message for you? And wished you knew how to listen? This workshop will teach you how stones communicate. Otterheart will share the story of the Stones, the oldest of all the Earth Tribes. You will hear how the Stones and their language came into being. Each stone has its own energy, and its own story to tell. You will learn about symbols embedded in stones, what the markings mean, and how to decipher their messages. People participating in this workshop will be guided through a series of experiential exercises with stones that Otterheart will bring with her. You will experience selecting a stone and "hearing" the message it has for you. Please also bring a stone (not a crystal) of your own that you have found while out walking, or in your yard. It will be used in one of the exercises. Workshop Instructor: Otterheart (Loralee Dubeau) has been on the Red Road for over 25 years. Of Blackfoot descent, she has trained in Blackfoot, Sioux, Seneca, Obijbway and Cherokee Native American traditions. Otterheart is a certified Reiki Master and a professional intuitive consultant. A member of the White Buffalo Calf Women’s Society, she teaches a variety of classes on Native American healing practices. Date and Time: Saturday, April 8th, 2006 from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
