Modern life provides many conveniences, such as living in warm houses during cold winter months and buying food in stores. Yet these very conveniences disconnect us from Nature. Our lives become unbalanced, our health compromised, and our Spirit depleted. Ceremonies, such as honoring the Spring Equinox, help us re-align with Nature’s energy, bringing us back into balance. People participating in this workshop will learn how sacred rituals help us make transitions, keeping us in sync with nature’s cycles (daily, monthly, seasonal, etc.) and other important transitions of life. We will cover the language of ritual, its structure, and flow of energy. This workshop, which will take place close to the Spring Equinox, will teach you how to create a sacred ceremony. We will also join in a ceremony honoring this time of the year. Night and day are of equal length on the Spring Equinox, and it marks the official start of Spring. As this is the season when the Earth’s energies focus on growing, our ceremony will emphasize Growing Spirit. We invite you to bring your personal intention for spiritual growth. The author of two books, Lesley has held faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
