What if     there were a place       where you could go         and be           in a circle             with others   And what if     that circle       guided you         deep inside           to spirit To sit in Sacred Council is to remember the ancient ways: Sitting in a circle, around a fire, asking the sacred center to hold our intentions. Trusting spirit and sharing whatever comes in the moment, one person at a time around and around the circle, while listening with the ears of our hearts. Traveling deeply together, and coming to some new knowing as a circle that we could not have found on our own. "Sharing what comes in the moment" holds many possibilities. Your sharing could be through silence, or a story, or a sound, a song, a dance, a question, a response, a poem, a dream - whatever feels "right"' in the moment. In order to provide safety, what happens in council is kept confidential. Our Sacred Councils explore dimensions of "Peacemaking"..."Transformation" .... and .... "Healing." And as we all sit together, sharing what arises within us, we weave in, and out, and around a particular theme or question. Each council is unique, for it is an organic process, shaped by those who participate and what arises in each moment. This process needs to be experienced in its entirety in order to deepen and be fully appreciated. We offer it as a community service. There is no charge for participating, though your tax-deductible donation to Harmony Center would be greatly appreciated. Offered by Lindsa Vallee, Laurie Markoff, and Lesley Shore. Place: This event will be held at Harmony Center in Medfield, MA. Directions will be sent with confirmation of participation. Time: Sacred Council is offered from 10am to 4pm. Please plan to arrive by 9:45 and stay through 4pm. The dates are listed on our Program Page. Potluck: We will be nourishing ourselves with nutritious food throughout our journey together. Plan on bringing a contribution to the food table, along with any necessary serving utensil. Sign Up: As we need to limit the number of participants, you do need to sign up for Sacred Council.
