Meditation helps calm the mind and can lower blood pressure.  It offers an important antidote to the stresses of living in our complicated, often demanding world.

While our guided meditations generally take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, this summer we've moved to a Monday schedule.  These sessions can help you develop a regular meditation practice and find your path to inner stillness, peace and clarity.

We gather around 7:15 pm - to allow time for taking off coats and shoes, saying hello, and settling in.  Meditation begins promptly at 7:30pm, ends at 8:30pm, and we usually depart before 9pm.  Tax deductible donations of at least $5 per person, in cash or check payable to Harmony Center, should be left in the donation basket on the shelf in the entry-way.  Please place your donations there when you first arrive as it is easy to forget after meditating. Send us an e-mail if you would like to receive a receipt for your cash donation.

Generally, there is no need to sign up for these events. Just come on time and plan to stay through the entire meditation.  Cancellations due to weather, etc. will be posted on our Program Page (assuming our computer is working).

If this will be your first time participating, please let us know that you plan to attend. We will send you directions along with additional information.  Plan to be here by 7:15 so that we can show you around.  And as we take of all outdoor shoes inside the Studio, you may want to wear or bring a pair of socks to keep your feet warm.
