"Numen: The Nature of Plants" focuses on the healing power of plants and the natural world.  Documentary in format, this film captures the magic, the mystery, the beauty of plants, and the importance of herbal medicine in our contemporary health care system.

Herbalism, our oldest system of healing on the planet, has been largely forgotten in our technological world of modern medicine.  This wonderful movie reminds us that plants provide the building blocks of human health, from sustenance to healing.

"Numen" features stunning footage of medicinal plants and moving interviews with scientists, doctors, herbalists, ethnobotanists, and other experts.  It offers a new vision of "medicine" along with concrete steps to improve individual health and well being while also enhancing the health of our planet.
